What is Graphic Design?
Graphic Design surrounds the main focuses of design: brand & application. By application I mean things like websites, merchandise or print, but lets face it, the list could be endless.

A few examples of Graphic Design are:

  • Logo Design
  • Stationery – such as business cards or letterheads
  • Design for Print – such as flyers or brochures
  • Screen Based Design – such as websites, cd-roms or interfaces for motion

My favourite aspect of design is the initial brainstorm, which usually involves me getting my craft box out and playing with colour swatches. Im a maker through and through and id rather mock something up using paper and ribbon or pegs than sit and draw endlessly. Its just what gets me going.
